I love food that’s simple and easy to cook. I firmly believe that it should not only taste great, it should also be good for you. Buy the freshest ingredients in season and cook with a minimum of fuss. The best home cooking has not the slightest resemblance to restaurant food, and in my opinion, it’s so much more comforting and friendly. This is the way I like to write recipes for books, magazines and my cooking classes.

People who use my recipes or come to my classes can feel confident they can put a fabulous meal on the table every time, whether it’s cooking for their family or friends, future in-laws, the boss – it doesn’t matter – they’ll know there won’t be any disasters and the food will be great.
